Start with the whole vehicle
When it is safe to do so, photograph the vehicle from several sides so the provider can understand which panels are involved. Use available daylight or another safe, well-lit setting. Keep your footing stable and avoid traffic, storm hazards or climbing onto the vehicle. If you cannot safely see the roof, say so.
Add panel views and close details
Take an overview of each affected panel followed by closer views of visible dents or paint damage. Reflections may help show surface changes; try more than one angle rather than relying on a single close-up. Identify the panel in your accompanying notes. Photos are a discussion aid, not proof that a specific repair method will work.
Keep personal information private
Avoid including license plates, VIN labels, policy paperwork, house numbers or other people in the images when they are unnecessary. Crop private details before sending a copy. Keep original images for your own records. Do not publish claim paperwork or account information on social media to request a repair estimate.
Share directly after the introduction
This website does not currently upload or store vehicle photos. Complete the damage check with your vehicle and location details, then ask the selected provider how it wants to receive the images securely. Do not assume a text destination or email address belongs to a provider until it confirms the correct contact.
