Ask whether PDR fits your damage
Paintless dent repair, often called PDR, is a repair approach intended to address suitable dents without repainting the panel. It is not a promise that every hail dent can be repaired that way. Ask a provider to assess the dent locations, paint condition, prior repair history and access to the affected panels. Mention known repainting or body repairs. A photo may help start the conversation, but the repairer must confirm suitability through an appropriate evaluation.
Get panel-by-panel clarity
Ask which panels the proposed PDR scope includes and which have been excluded or need another method. Explain any dents along edges or body lines and any visible paint damage without trying to diagnose the repair yourself. Find out whether trim or other parts need removal, what is included in the estimate and how unexpected findings are handled. Compare providers using the same vehicle details and damage map, then discuss the work and acceptance criteria directly.
Know what completion includes
Ask how the provider documents the original damage, communicates progress and reviews the completed work with you. Request written terms for any workmanship warranty offered and clarify exclusions. Do not assume a result from a sample image or a general description of PDR. Arrange a direct discussion about the actual vehicle, the proposed scope and timing. Our free request helps organize an introduction; independent providers set their own prices, methods, availability and terms.
